Grow by letting go.
Real transformation does not always require pushing harder. Sometimes it starts with stillness, space and choosing to release the version of yourself that no longer fits.
We create unforgettable weekends where strangers become lifelong friends through adventure, movement, beautiful places and shared experiences.
Because we're all soft inside. Because we all outgrow versions of ourselves. This is the rhythm we honor at The Lobster Society: back to the body, back to the present, back to community, intention and joy.
Real transformation does not always require pushing harder. Sometimes it starts with stillness, space and choosing to release the version of yourself that no longer fits.
Lobsters move by instinct. We create chapters that bring people out of overthinking and back into sensation, presence, movement and the quiet intelligence of the body.
Lobsters do not do shallow water. We believe in depth, loyalty and choosing consciously again and again: the people, the places and the life you actually want to inhabit.
Not every season asks for the same thing.
Six days of surfing, sunsets and the French art of living.
Four days for women ready for their next chapter.
A long weekend where old friends reunite and new ones instantly feel at home.
“In just a few days, it felt like we lived a whole lifetime.”
“Thank you for all the touching moments, the love, the energy and of course our group hugs. This will stay in my heart.”

You don’t have to arrive here looking for anything to fix.
You can simply come as you are — with your own story, your own journey and your own life already in motion.
The Lobster Society is a place to add more to it.
More moments.
More perspective.
More connection.
More adventure.
More memories.
The Lobster Society was never meant to be just about going somewhere beautiful. It was created by three different people with one shared belief: life changes when you change the way you experience it.
Bori brings the depth. Her work sits at the intersection of the body, mind and soul, combining nervous system regulation, somatic practices, subconscious patterns and real-life mentorship.
Bori has been working in the wellbeing, movement and personal development space for the past five years. Her work combines nervous system regulation, subconscious reprogramming, understanding our patterns and beliefs, and working with the body through somatic practices.
For her, true transformation can never happen on only one level. We can understand something intellectually, but if the body does not feel safe enough to experience it, real change can still feel impossible. That is why her approach is deeply holistic: coming back into the body, understanding the mind, listening to the deeper parts of ourselves, and creating a relationship with our own nervous system.
The idea of hosting these trips started years ago. First, Bori and Mate began creating surf trips together. Then Bori started creating experiences of her own, including the girls' trips that eventually became such a big part of The Lobster Society.
In 2025, Klara joined the journey, and with the rebranding, The Lobster Society as we know it today was born. Since then, the three of us have hosted retreats and trips together, creating experiences that go far beyond a holiday.
Bori's own life has been shaped by huge changes, deep shifts and life-changing experiences through travel, retreats and the people she met along the way. She knows firsthand what can happen when you step outside of your usual environment and give yourself permission to see your life, and yourself, differently.
For Bori, these experiences are about coming back to yourself. Back to nature. Back to community. Back to the body. Back to what feels true.
She believes nervous system regulation and learning how to live in a more nervous-system-friendly way will become one of the most important skills of the years ahead.
On a Lobster retreat, Bori is not only the person behind the organisation. She is the one coming up with spontaneous ideas, unexpected plans and conversations that turn into something deeper. She is also the person you can come to when something gets stirred up.
If something feels blocked, triggered, emotional or simply wants to be explored, you do not have to figure it out alone. You get to experience real-life mentorship, support and guidance throughout the retreat, while still having the freedom to simply enjoy yourself.
For Bori, these trips are ultimately about showing people that there is more than one way to experience life. That we can choose differently. And that sometimes, changing our environment is the beginning of changing our reality.
Klara brings creativity, movement, music and the vibe. She helps hold the group, supports the experience behind the scenes and brings lightness into the moments that make people open up.
Klara joined the Lobster journey in 2025, when the brand went through its biggest transformation and The Lobster Society was born in its new form. She had already experienced the Lobster world from the other side.
She first joined one of Bori and Mate's trips in Bali, and then came back for several retreats hosted by Bori. Something changed. The experiences opened her up to new people, new possibilities and completely new perspectives on what life could look like.
They became part of a bigger period of growth and transformation for her. Eventually, it felt like the most natural next step to move from being a participant to becoming part of the team creating these experiences.
Klara is a graphic designer, Pilates teacher and DJ in the making. She brings creativity, movement, music and, very importantly, the vibe.
She helps hold the group, supports the organisation behind the scenes, creates sessions and experiences, and is usually somewhere in the middle of whatever is happening.
Together, Klara and Bori create a balance between depth and play, structure and spontaneity, grounding and energy.
But perhaps the most important thing Klara brings is her belief in adult friendship. Meeting the right people at the right time can completely change your life.
The friendships created through these trips have become some of the most meaningful relationships in our lives, and we want more people to experience that.
The Lobster Society is about real connection. The kind where you arrive not knowing anyone and leave with people you genuinely want to keep in your life.
And yes, we are also here to have an absolutely amazing time: to dance, move, explore, eat really good food, laugh until our stomachs hurt, swim in the sea, make spontaneous plans and enjoy this life to the fullest.
Because transformation does not always have to be serious. Sometimes healing looks like dancing barefoot with your friends at midnight. That is exactly the kind of life we want to create more space for.
Mate is the person making sure everything you do not see actually happens. He brings systems, business, practical grounding and a bigger vision for creating spaces where men feel invited too.
Mate is an entrepreneur, business owner and the person making sure that all the things you do not see actually happen.
His work is centred around adaptogenic mushrooms, supplements and creating simple, useful rituals and daily habits that can help people come back to their centre, slow down and live a more nervous-system-friendly life.
He is also a dad, loves pretty much every sport you can think of, and naturally gravitates towards building things: businesses, systems, ideas and communities.
Another part of his mission is becoming increasingly important to him: creating spaces where men feel invited to be part of this world, too.
Wellness, personal growth, retreats, nervous system work and meaningful connection are often still seen as something mainly for women. Mate strongly believes that men need these experiences just as much.
They need spaces where they can slow down, reconnect with themselves, spend time in nature, move their bodies, have honest conversations, laugh, play, and simply be around other men without the pressure to constantly perform.
Through The Lobster Society, he wants to help create more of these spaces: a community where men can come together, have fun, support each other and build genuine friendships.
Personal growth does not have to mean sitting in a circle talking about your feelings all day. Sometimes it looks like surfing together, playing sports, jumping into the ocean, having a sunset conversation, laughing until you cannot breathe, trying something completely new, and slowly realising that connection and vulnerability can actually be fun.
While Bori and Klara are often more visible on the retreat side, Mate is very much the person behind the scenes making sure everything keeps moving.
Emails? Invoices? Logistics? Technology? Last-minute problems? He has got it. Without him, many of these trips simply would not come to life.
Mate was there from the very beginning, when he and Bori started creating surf trips together. Today, he is more focused on his businesses and the bigger picture behind The Lobster Society, but he remains an important part of the trips, especially the surf camps and community experiences.
He brings a little more masculine energy into the group, keeps things grounded and practical, and is usually the person making sure everyone has what they need.
His vision is to help build a community where both women and men can find their people, experience new things, grow together and genuinely enjoy being alive.
You can meet Mate on our Biarritz surf trips, Lua community retreats and other selected experiences, while Bori and Klara are with you across our retreats and upcoming trips.
